Dr. Carpenter resides in Gilbert with his wife, Julie, and their three dogs. Their two grown children occasionally make the trek home, especially if they hear their dad is in charge of cooking dinner. An avid craftsman and outdoorsman, Dr. Carpenter enjoys fishing and boating, and has built a flat-bottomed Carolina Dory in his garage. He has taken his handmade boat to the Keys for fishing and is currently learning about navigating the Great Loop as his next planned adventure.
